Mentally Jacked

Educational Guide Library

Long-form educational guides on bloodwork, hormones, peptides, training, nutrition, recovery and longevity. Each one explains the physiology, works through what the research actually shows, and is honest about where the evidence is thin. Every guide is available as a downloadable PDF you can keep.

All guides are published for educational purposes only and are not medical advice.

Who these guides are for

Drug-free lifters, athletes working in an enhanced context, physique competitors, and anyone focused on longevity, metabolic health or biohacking. The common thread is a preference for understanding the mechanism rather than being handed a set of instructions.

Some guides are accessible to anyone willing to read carefully. Others assume you already understand training, nutrition and basic physiology. Each one states its assumed starting point, so nothing wastes your time.

How to get the most out of them

Start with the category that matches your current bottleneck rather than the topic that sounds most interesting. Most people plateau because of recovery, nutrition or an unaddressed blood marker rather than because of their training programme.

Read the bloodwork material before anything more advanced. Almost every other decision improves when you can see what is actually happening rather than guessing at it, and several of the calculators on this site are built to work directly from those results.

Guides pair with the calculators. Where a guide explains a concept, there is often a tool that applies it to your own numbers.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is in the guide library?

Long-form educational guides covering bloodwork interpretation, hormones, peptides, training and programming, nutrition and supplementation, fat loss, recovery, sleep, longevity and biohacking. Each is available as a downloadable PDF.

How are the guides different from articles or social media posts?

Depth and sourcing. A post has to compress a topic into a few lines, which means the caveats, the contradictory evidence and the mechanism are the first things cut. The guides keep all of it, including the parts that complicate a clean narrative.

Are the guides referenced?

Yes. Claims that rest on published work cite it, so you can read the original rather than taking any of it on trust.

Who are the guides written for?

Drug-free lifters, enhanced athletes, physique competitors and anyone working on longevity or metabolic health. Every guide states its intended audience and assumed starting knowledge at the beginning.

Do I need a background in physiology to understand them?

Not for most of them. The writing explains mechanisms rather than assuming them. Some of the more advanced material does assume familiarity with training, nutrition and basic physiology, and says so before you start.

In what format are the guides delivered?

As downloadable PDFs, so you can keep them and read them offline. Where a guide has an accompanying video breakdown, it is linked from the same page.

How often is new material added?

Regularly. Subscribing to notifications means you learn when something new is published rather than needing to check back.

Are existing guides updated?

Yes. Guides are revised when the underlying evidence changes, because a guide that contradicts current research is worse than no guide at all.

Which guide should I start with?

The bloodwork material, in most cases. Almost every other decision about training, nutrition and recovery improves once you can see what is actually happening rather than guessing at it.

Can I request a topic?

Yes. A significant amount of what gets published begins as a question someone sent in through the contact form.

Can I share a guide with someone?

Please point them to the site so they receive the current version. Please do not redistribute the files themselves or republish the content elsewhere.

Is any of this medical advice?

No. Every guide is educational. It is written to help you understand mechanisms, markers and research so you can have better conversations with a qualified physician. It does not diagnose, prescribe or replace individual medical care.
