Mentally Jacked

Privacy Policy

Last updated: August 2026 · Version 1.0

1. Our approach

This policy explains what personal data we collect, why, how we use it and what rights you have. It is issued in compliance with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and the Information Technology Act, 2000 together with rules made under them.

We collect the minimum we need to operate. We do not sell your data. We never have and we will not.

2. Data fiduciary

For the purposes of the DPDP Act, 2023, the Data Fiduciary is:

Jacked Empire

3. What we collect

3.1 Information you give us

  • Account information: name, email address, password in hashed form.
  • Payment information: processed entirely by our payment gateway. We receive confirmation of payment and a transaction reference. We do not receive, see or store your card number, CVV or banking credentials.
  • Communications: anything you send us by email, contact form or messaging channel.

3.2 Information collected automatically

  • Technical data: IP address, browser type, device type, operating system, referring page, pages visited and time spent.
  • Cookies and similar technologies, as described in section 9.

3.3 Calculator inputs — read this carefully

Our calculators ask for information which may include physical measurements, symptoms, laboratory values and details of substances you use. This information is sensitive and we treat it accordingly.

Calculator inputs are processed entirely within your own browser. They are not transmitted to our servers, are not stored by us, are not logged by us and are not accessible to us. When you close or refresh the page, they are gone.

We therefore hold no record of any health information you enter into any tool on this website. We cannot retrieve it, cannot disclose it, and cannot lose it, because we never receive it.

If this ever changes, we will amend this policy, notify subscribers, and obtain fresh consent before any such data is collected.

3.4 Community content

This is different from calculator inputs. If you are a member of our paid Community room, the questions you ask, the answers you save, the votes you cast and the messages you post in chat ARE received and stored by us, tied to your account. This is necessary to operate the room and to build the permanent, searchable answer archive that membership provides.

Where you post a question anonymously, other members never see your identity — but we always retain it internally, because anonymity is from the room, not from moderation. See section 7 for how long this content is kept.

4. What we do not collect

  • We do not collect data from anyone under 18. Our services are not directed at children.
  • We do not collect government identity numbers, Aadhaar, PAN or passport details.
  • We do not collect biometric data.
  • We do not collect precise geolocation.

5. Why we process your data

  • Creating and operating your account — uses Name, email, password, on the basis of Consent, and performance of contract.
  • Processing subscription payments — uses Payment confirmation, transaction reference, on the basis of Performance of contract.
  • Sending service communications — uses Email address, on the basis of Performance of contract.
  • Sending marketing communications — uses Email address, on the basis of Consent, withdrawable at any time.
  • Security, fraud prevention, abuse detection — uses Technical data, IP address, on the basis of Legitimate use.
  • Improving the website — uses Aggregated, anonymised analytics, on the basis of Legitimate use.
  • Complying with legal obligations — uses As required, on the basis of Legal obligation.

6. Sharing

We share personal data only with:

  • Payment processors, to take payment.
  • Hosting and infrastructure providers, to run the website.
  • Email service providers, to send communications you have asked for.
  • Analytics providers, in aggregated and anonymised form.
  • Legal and professional advisers, where necessary.
  • Law enforcement or regulators, where required by law or valid legal process.

We do not sell, rent, trade or license personal data to anyone for any purpose. We do not share your data with advertisers.

7. Retention

  • Account data: for as long as your account is active, and for three years after closure, for tax and legal record purposes.
  • Payment records: for eight years, as required under Indian tax law.
  • Technical logs: twelve months.
  • Marketing consent records: until withdrawn, and for two years thereafter as proof of consent.
  • Calculator inputs: never retained, because never received.
  • Community questions, answers and chat messages: retained for as long as your account exists, since they form the shared archive other members rely on. Moderation action records are retained indefinitely for audit and dispute-resolution purposes.

8. Your rights under the DPDP Act, 2023

You have the right to:

  • Access a summary of the personal data we hold about you and how we process it.
  • Correct inaccurate or incomplete data, and to have it completed or updated.
  • Erase your data where it is no longer necessary for the purpose it was collected for.
  • Withdraw consent at any time, as easily as you gave it.
  • Nominate another person to exercise these rights on your behalf in the event of death or incapacity.

You can control cookies through your browser settings. Disabling strictly necessary cookies will prevent parts of the website from working.

10. Security

We apply reasonable security safeguards including encryption in transit, hashed password storage, access controls and regular review. No system is perfectly secure and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
