A 12-week advanced hypertrophy and strength program using periodised volume, heavy compound work, RPE, wave loading, rest-pause, drop sets, myo-reps and a planned deload.

The Forge is a 12-week periodised system built for advanced lifters who need more than basic progressive overload. Volume, load, effort and intensity techniques change across three phases to drive both size and strength.
What's Inside
Built for advanced lifters with at least 2–3 years of consistent training who already have solid squat, press, pull and hinge technique. It is designed for lifters who recover well, can train six days per week and have access to full commercial-gym equipment.
The block runs for 12 weeks across three phases: Foundation, Intensification and Overload. Each phase progressively raises load and effort while adjusting volume and rep ranges.
Phase I builds work capacity and volume. Phase II raises mechanical tension and strength. Phase III introduces wave loading and advanced intensity techniques before a planned deload.
The program runs six days per week, with sessions capped at roughly 90 minutes. RPE and reps in reserve are used throughout to control effort and progression.
The protocol uses pause reps, cluster sets, wave loading, rest-pause, drop sets, myo-reps, partials and giant sets as the block progresses.
Six training days followed by one rest day. The split is intentionally structured and the guide advises against reshuffling it.
Phase I is Foundation, Phase II is Intensification and Phase III is Overload. The sequence moves from volume and work capacity to strength and finally peak loading plus advanced intensity techniques.
Not throughout the entire block. Phase I leaves around 2–3 reps in reserve, Phase II moves closer to failure, and Phase III uses 0–1 RIR with failure and post-failure techniques mainly on accessory work.
Week 12 is a planned deload. Working sets are cut in half, loads are reduced to around 60% of the hard weights, intensity techniques are removed and sets stop 3–4 reps short of failure.
